If you want to mix eras, define the main decade and how far the selection can go. For a strictly 80s party, identify the tracks you want, not just the artists. Sound and lighting follow the venue and features confirmed in the package.

A wide range of throwbacks or strictly 80s?
Say whether songs from the 70s, 90s or 2000s can be included. This boundary helps the DJ assess requests during the party and keeps an 80s selection from changing direction without agreement.
Lighting and effects for a retro mood
A mirror ball, lighting and lasers depend on the package. An LED dance floor is optional. Costumes and retro decorations are separate decisions from booking DJ, sound and lighting.

What is the difference between an 80s party and a throwback party?+
A throwback party can include music from several eras. If you want a party focused on the 80s, specify that during planning. You can also use the 80s as a base and allow other decades at certain moments.
Can I prioritize Brazilian rock over international pop?+
Yes. The focus should reflect your preferences. Send songs and artists that represent what you want to hear, along with styles you prefer to avoid; an 80s party does not have to use the same selection as any other.
How can we avoid songs from other decades in guest requests?+
Agree with the DJ on whether music should be limited to the 80s. When sending references, identify songs, not just artists, since one artist may have hits from different periods.
Can I mix original versions and remixes?+
You can indicate that preference. If a specific version matters, send the reference for checking. Choosing between original recordings and other versions helps define whether the party will feel more nostalgic or offer a different take on the songs.
Are a mirror ball and LED dance floor part of every package?+
No. The mirror ball is provided in configurations that include it; the LED dance floor is optional. Compare each package's items and provide the venue to confirm setup. Retro decor should not be assumed to be part of the DJ service either.
